The deal is Evoplay’s latest move to deepen its footprint in Spain’s tightly regulated online market, where the studio has now signed with multiple DGOJ-licensed operators since entering the country in May 2026.
Spain’s regulated online casino market, overseen by the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego, has attracted a growing queue of international content suppliers since national licensing opened under Law 13/2011. Evoplay announced on 16 October 2026 that it has struck a content distribution agreement with Gran Madrid | Casino Online, placing around 50 titles on the operator’s DGOJ-licensed platform.
Evoplay’s second named deal in Spain’s regulated market
Having first entered Spain in May 2026 through a content agreement with Casino777.es, Evoplay is continuing to build its operator network in the country. The Gran Madrid deal brings around 50 titles from Evoplay’s portfolio to a new segment of the Spanish player base, adding to the studio’s distribution across the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego-regulated market.
Games confirmed for the rollout include Crimson Crown, Hot Triple Sevens, and Penalty Shoot Out: Cup Mania, covering classic casino formats, feature-led mechanics, and the sports-themed instant-game style for which Evoplay has become known across European markets.
Gran Madrid’s position in the Spanish market
Gran Madrid | Casino Online is the digital arm of a group founded in 1981, which operates three land-based casinos across Spain, in Torrelodones, central Madrid, and Torrequebrada on the Costa del Sol. The online platform launched in 2011 and was among the first operators to receive authorisation under Spain’s national online gambling framework, Law 13/2011. It currently holds DGOJ licence and operates across slots, live casino, and sports betting verticals.
Executive comment
Alex Malchenko, Head of Sales at Evoplay, said:
‘Europe remains a priority region for Evoplay, with Spain playing an important role in our continued growth across regulated markets. Gran Madrid’s long-standing presence in the Spanish gaming sector makes it a valuable partner as we expand our reach in the country.’
José Félix Herreros, Country Manager at Gran Madrid, added:
‘Our players expect a casino experience with plenty of choice, but also one that continues to give them new reasons to explore the lobby. Evoplay has built a distinctive identity in the market, and we’re pleased to introduce a broad selection of its content to our audience.’
The agreement reflects a broader pattern among international content suppliers seeking DGOJ certification as Spain’s regulated online market continues to attract new entrants. Evoplay holds a B2B Critical Gaming Supply licence from the Malta Gaming Authority, alongside certification from Ontario’s AGCO and Swiss authorities.
